I am a computer science student who composes music for video games and plays piano in my spare time. Though I am primarily a musician, I also specialize in pixel art, Flash animation, and game programming. I use FL Studio for music and MS Paint for pixels. Finalists Round 2!- Tower of Heaven

Tower of Heaven has made it into the second finalists round of 2Bee Games' Indie Games Competition, and we were among the top 3 games at the conclusion of the last poll. You guys were certainly responsible for that; Tower of Heaven's percentage rose from 3% to 13% after the journal was posted last week! Thank you everyone.

But we still have a long way to go. This week, everyone can vote again in the second round. If you really enjoyed Tower of Heaven, you can support our game by voting on the 2Bee Games website.


Besides that.

Life has been busy and schoolwork has been plentiful as usual. I had a lot of ideas and inspiration that were held in until last weekend, when I finally had the chance to put a good deal of time into my personal projects again. It was nice to have a lot of concepts for characters and music brewing around in my mind for a while and then to have them all be unleashed at once in a productive blitz. Ever have that happen to you?

What kind of creative or productive endeavors have you guys done lately? And are you able to afford taking the time off from daily life to work on the things you want?

Wow, the composer for Tower of Heaven! :la:

I downloaded and finished the game yesterday, and I must say, the music is great! It fits with the game greatly. Keep up the good work!

By the way, I'm making a game with a friend of mine. If in the future I open a paypal account, I'll commission some tracks from you!

What? The composer for Tower of Heaven has a DA page? Awesome. I just wanted to say, I loved your work in that game. I like how the melody develops as the player climbs up the tower. And I found it impossible to get frustrated thanks to that chill tune on the last level. (Even with 4 chainsaws to deal with. . . ) Anyway, keep up the good work!
